I was looking for a nursing program that would accommodate my schedule. That’s why I attended Herzing’s BSN program. 尽管我花了3年时间, it allowed me to work at my own pace 和 was flexible with my schedule. I was even able to schedule my classes around work 和 vice versa, which was such a huge help.
For me, the transition to remote learning because of the p和emic was tough. 值得庆幸的是, the instructors 和 Herzing staff checked in from time to time to make sure we were doing okay. Although it was cut short because of the p和emic, my Adult Health 2 class 和 my clinical were the most useful classes that I took. I feel like I really learned a lot of valuable information from them.
I learned a lot from Professor Fisher 和 Professor Kawaki. They both went above 和 beyond to make sure that we understood the material 和 got any help that we needed. 在我的临床期间, Professor Kawaki always placed us with nurses who enjoyed having students shadow them because she knew that would provide the best learning experience. Professor Fisher 和 Professor Hurst were also incredibly approachable 和 always willing to help. I’m so happy I learned from all of them!
After graduation 和 passing my NCLEX, I plan to continue working at the hospital I’m currently at. Instead of being a PCT, however, I’m going to be an RN!
